Demographic swell - meaning my generation (baby boomers) now beginning to take up more medical beds and occupy more nurse/specialist time time. A strong case to use technology to gain incremental efficiency.
Ability to assist upstream and downstream services. In Qld we have an awful scenario called ramping where stationary ambulances are used as patient beds. So perhaps the ambos and even home services using much the same diagnostic technology could provide greater efficiencies in the totality of the patient care.
I see a potential loss of considerable goodwill should the Alcidion system be determined to be the primary cause of a fatality.
